RULES OF EXAMINATION

  1. The school curriculum and examination system is based as per SSC Board rules and regulation and evaluation is done in two terms.
  2. Promotion of students of Std. I to VIII is based on formative and summative marks of both the terms. This includes orals, activities, class test, project work, unit test and term exam and class work. If the pupil fails to get minimum marks in any of the subject, then he / she has to give a Retest and score the required marks.
  3. For Std. IX, promotion to next class is based on the average marks obtained in both terms which includes unit test/ orals/ practical's/ assignments/ projects and term exam.
  4. Students unable to obtain 35% passing marks in the average will have to give a re-exam.
  5. Students of Std. X have to submit their Assignments/ Projects on the given dates to avail the internal marks sent to the board from school.
  6. 75% attendance is compulsory for promotion.
  7. If a pupil is ill during the course of examination, a proper medical certificate along with application should be submitted as soon as possible to the Principal.
  8. Pupil absent for the exam will not be allowed for re-exam.
  9. Strict action will be taken against pupils found cheating/ carrying any objectionable material to the exam hall and will not be allowed to sit for remaining papers and will be given zero mark for the respective papers.
  10. All matters regarding promotion/ condoning of the pupil are left entirely to the discretion of the Principal and her decision shall be final.
  11. Open house is held after every exam. Answer papers will not be shown of the final exam
  12. SSC exam forms are filled in advance for convenience only and the Principal has the right to withdraw the said examination form if the academic performance/ conduct/ attendance of the pupil are not found satisfactory.
